The Morgan +4 models were built from 1950-1968 at the Malvern Link, Worcestershire, England plant. Morgan did not build engines so various manufacturers were used. From 1962-1968 they used the Triumph TR4 2.0L 4 cylinder.
Morgan hand builds every car and the bodies are constructed over an ash wood frame. During the seven years of production, 1,523 Plus 4 models with the TR4 engine were built. It is not known how many of those were exported or how many remain.
This +4 was delivered On July 3, 1963 to a Martin Moss via Fergus Motors of New York and still wears its original delivery U.K. license plate. The vehicle was originally green with a black interior and repainted in 2012. It has a documented ownership history with 24,500 original miles.
