1947 Buick Super (Hot Rod)

Designed under the direction of Harley Earl 27,796 Buick model 50's (or "Super") two door convertible coupes were made and sold for $1,845-$2,593.  Due to the war the 1947 models were warmed over 1942 models with the addition of the ever popular "Bomb Sight" hood ornament.

Original cars were powered by the famous 110 H.P. Fireball straight 8 engine, 3-speed manual transmission and were full of hydraulics operating the power windows, top and seats.

This gem has had a complete drivetrain change to a 6.0 LS2 V8, 4L60 automatic transmission, Chevelle rear end, disk brakes and ride tech air suspension.  The body and trim remain stock.
